'What I believe about God is the most important thing about me.'

God is Able!
Read:Ephesians 3:14-21

If an unknown person came to your door offering to help you solve your problems, would you believe him? Would you place your trust in him, having no proof of his abilities or trustworthiness? Probably not.

Why then, do so many people make blind requests of God without a full understanding of who He is and what He has to offer? We often encounter persons who are eager to lift up their immediate needs to God, and yet, they are hesitant to pursue a personal relationship with Him.

In today's Scripture passage, Paul offers a prayer for the Christians in Ephesus. He prays for them to be strengthened with the power of the Holy Spirit and for Christ to dwell in their hearts so they will be rooted and grounded in love. He closes by addressing his requests to the God he knows well-a God 'who is able to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think' (v. 20).

The truth of this message is that God is able to give even more than we need, provide more than we ask for, and do more than we can comprehend. He is trustworthy and true, honorable and merciful.

Do you understand the character of God? Are you familiar with His unlimited ability? If you truly want Jesus to be Lord of your life, reach out to Him. He will reveal Himself to you in a mighty way.
