On The New Year’s First Day

Dear Lord,

This day is the first day of new year
I felt this day is a special day, this year, because it was only with You.
The only time I got out was to go to the church and to express my gratitude to You and say:
Thank You, Lord, for the past year.
Thank You for the day, the night, the space, and the time.
Thank You for the health, the job, and the opportunities.
Thank You for the friends, known and still unknown.
And thank You especially for You ARE and You are with me.
But let me feel Your presence more openly in this coming year.
Let me feel Your peace more deeply in my family, my friends, in the world, and mainly myself.
Let me feel Your caring hands more concernningly in everyone and in every little thing.
Let me feel Your loving heart more intimately in every heart I meet.
Let me feel Your growth more intensely in every good will.
Let me feel more unity in my Church, in this earth and in entire universe.
Let my eyes detect You in everyone, in every event, and in everything.
Let me be vulnerable enough to You, more transparent, so that others can see You more clearly in my life.
